(i) प्रश्नों के उत्तर देते समय जो प्रश्न संख्या प्रश्न-पत्र पर दर्शाई गई है, उत्तर-पुस्तिका पर वही प्रश्न संख्या लिखना अनिवार्य है।
While answering your questions, you must indicate on your answer-book the same question no. as appears in your question- paper.
(ii) उत्तर-पुस्तिका के बीच में खाली पन्ना/पन्ने न छोड़ए।

(iii) इस प्रश्न-पत्र में पाँच खण्ड है। खण्ड-I अनिवार्य है। बाकी चार खण्डों में से प्रत्येक खण्ड से एक-एक प्रश्न करना अनिवार्य है।
This question paper contains five parts. Section-I is compulsory. Attempt one question each from remaining four sections.

1. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए:

(क) दैनिक जीवन में गणित का क्या महत्त्व है?
What is the importance of mathematics in our daily life.
(ख) सह-अभाज्य संख्याओं, युग्म अभाज्य संख्याओं को उदाहरण सहित परिभाषित कीजिए।
Define Co-prime numbers, twin prime numbers with example
(ग) रोमन पद्धति में लिखिए:
(i) 86593
(ii) 587685
Write in Roman Pattern:

(घ) अपरिमेय संख्या √2 को संख्या रेखा पर निरूपित कीजिए ।
Denote irrational number √2 on the number line.
(ङ) सतत और व्यापक मूल्यांकन से आपका क्या अभिप्राय है ?
What do you mean by continuous and comprehensive evaluation?
(च) प्राथमिक स्तर पर आप दशमलब भिन्न का ज्ञान बच्चों को किस प्रकार देंगे ?
How do you explain decimal fraction to children at primary level?
(छ) 8679 को 728 से केवल दो चरणों में गुणा करें।
Multiply 8679 by 728 in two steps.

2. (क) गणित में सह-सम्बन्ध से क्या अभिप्राय है? विस्तृत वर्णन कीजिए।
What do you mean by co-relation in mathematics? Describe in detail.
(ख) आगमन विधि क्या है ? आगमन विधि द्वारा आयत का क्षेत्रफल निकालने के सूत्र का निर्माण कीजिए।

खण्ड-III / (Section-III)
3. (क) पाँच अंकों की बड़ी से बड़ी और छोटी से छोटी संख्या ज्ञात करो जिसे 7,10,15,21 और 28 से भाग करें तो पूरी-पूरी विभक्त हो जाए।
Find out the largest and smallest five digit number which when divided by 7, 10, 15, 21 and 28 is completely divisible by it.
(ख) एक पहिया, जिसकी त्रिज्या 7 से.मी. है वह 440 से.मी. दूरी तय करने में कितने चक्कर लगाएगा?
Radius of a wheel is 7 cm. How many revolution it will make in moving 440 cm.?
(ग) 40 घंटे 7 मिनट में से 38 घंटे 9 मिनट को घटाइए।
Subtract 38 hours 9 minutes from 40 hours 7 minutes.

(क) निम्नलिखित बारम्बारता बंटन किसी मोहल्ले के 68 उपभोक्ताओं की बिजली की मासिक खपत दर्शाता है। इन आंकड़ों का बहुलक ज्ञात कीजिए।

Write the main causes of increasing mathematics phobia. How can teacher help students to overcome their fear of maths?
(ख) पाठ योजना से आप क्या समझते हैं ? एक अच्छी पाठ-योजना की क्या-क्या विशेषताएं होनी चाहिए ?
